This young lady was called out for grit, determination, and straight up hard work, and therefore, our 7-12 #SourcesOfStrength student of the month for November is Khloe Odegard!
Here is Khloe's nominating teacher had to say about her:
"I would like to nominate Khloe Odegard for Student of the Month for her grit, determination, and willingness to work hard and improve every day. Khloe has embodied multiple chunks of the Sources of Strength wheel this year but has really stepped up in the physical health section. I have been pleasantly surprised many times by the times she is reporting for her conditioning workouts, as well as her lifting numbers. All of that aside, she continues to impress me every day. Even on days that she doesn’t have the fastest times or the highest numbers, she knows that she wants to get things done the right way, and makes sure to complete everything, no matter how hard it is. Khloe truly deserves to be Student of the Month, in all aspects, and will represent this honor well."

"I would like to nominate Grady for Student of the Month, as he consistently demonstrates outstanding qualities both inside and outside the classroom. Grady has a genuine passion for the world around him. He approaches learning with enthusiasm and a curious mindset, always eager to acquire new knowledge and share his insights with his peers. This enthusiasm not only enriches his own learning experience but also positively impacts those around him.
He greets everyone he encounters in the hallway with eye contact and a warm, welcoming smile, creating a positive atmosphere wherever he goes. His friendly demeanor makes him a role model for his peers.
Grady has an impressive level of grit and determination. He is willing to put in the hard work necessary to achieve success, whether it's in the classroom or in one of his entrepreneurial pursuits. We aim to have every student, teacher, and staff member sorted into a house this year. Houses are designed to increase engagement, improve behavior, enhance leadership opportunities, and strengthen our school community.
Today marked a milestone as our front office staff were officially sorted into their houses—congratulations to them for being part of something truly amazing! We can’t wait to see the spirit, camaraderie, and leadership that will grow as we embark on this journey together.

Webster's Dictionary tells us that a community is "a unified body of individuals with common interests and an interacting population of various kinds in a common location"—which makes us sound like a very well-organized nature documentary. It also says that lunch is "a meal taken in the middle of the day," but let’s be honest: lunch is so much more than that. Lunch is where bonds are built, stories are shared, and someone inevitably asks, "Are you going to eat that?"
For today's community lunch, we were honored to have so many amazing individuals gathered together. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a celebration of what makes our school special: people like you. Your support fuels not just our programs but our spirits, and your presence reminds us that it truly takes a village (or in our case, a CLAW) to raise, guide, and inspire the next generation.
So thank you for making time to laugh, connect, and maybe even argue over who got the last brownie. Together, we’re not just a community—we’re a force of positivity, passion, and panther pride. Here’s to many more meals, moments, and memories.

Fantastic science labs in 5/6 today!
Four students were selected to participate in the Northeast District Music Clinic for high school students in Gillette, WY on November 22-23. Isaac participated in the Wind Symphony group and Izzy, Katelyn, and Tera performed in the SSA choir. The students learned from clinicians, networked with other music students, and presented an incredible concert! #PantherClaw
