Mrs. Andreen is in the Panther Spotlight! She took over this year as our 3-4 teacher and has taken off with her students. She serves the district, happily, in many capacities - beginning and ending her days driving a bus. From the time that she picks up the first student in the morning, through the day, and until the last student is dropped off she is supporting students through great relationships and care.

Congratulations to Mrs. McTaggart and Mr. Spade for winning our November Health n' Fitness challenge! Don't drink your Starbucks or eat your Jimmy John's all in one sitting and thank you for being health conscious! (Even though Mr. B is pictured and very festive, he did not win this month 😄)

Will Betz is in the Panther Spotlight! When tasked with analyzing a character's actions, Will Betz effectively judges the character accordingly. Common critical thinking questions one can hear from Will is "but why did he say that" or "how come he took that path". His ability to question the character's perspective made our classroom discussions that much better. Will is a hard worker and asks questions that require deeper thought. He always bring laughter into the classroom. Will is an extremely hard worker. He takes pride in his shop work and is always looking for ways to improve his skills. SCSD#3 hosted our local legislators last night for a community forum. Great questions were asked and I am certain that the legislators have a better idea today on how to represent our district in the spring. #180DaysOfJoy

Every Thursday for the month of November, ACHS @SourcesOfStrength sponsored "Mentor (and mentee) November". Anyone could write a green note to either a mentor or a mentee in the building to start or strengthen positive relationships between staff and students. This was the haul from this Thursday's session, which is over 115 notes showing all the positive connections throughout the school. It really is great to be part of such an amazing program and school! #shr3pantherpride #SourcesOfStrength

Mrs. Knudsvig is in the Panther Spotlight! 🐾 Mrs. Knudsvig has the opportunity to work with all students at A-C, developing their aptitude and appreciation for art. She works to provide a great working environment for students and celebrates their accomplishments by beautifying our school with their work. Mrs. Knudsvig is on our district steering committee; she is often quiet - but when she weighs in on any topic, her contribution is great. She is often able to ensure that we see through another lens prior to making any decision. Her support of students and contribution to the school make A-C a better place!
