7th grades just finished up their fire starting unit in O.R.E.O. In this unit they learn how you start fires using various materials, but are assessed on using magnesium bars. As you can see, Callie was VERY excited to get hers lit so fast! Just another of the many great courses that are offered to our great students. #PantherClaw

Don't Forget! TOMORROW is Picture Day!

A "claw" is the official term given to a group of panthers. In nature, a claw of panthers has not been witnessed, as panthers are solitary creatures, only found together when young with their mother, or for short periods in pairs. Given this, our Panthers coming together as a Claw each day for their education, to support each other in extracurricular pursuits, and in building our community, is special - supernatural even. #PantherClaw will be our mark as we celebrate the great accomplishments we reach together.
