Day 4 in New York City was one we won’t soon forget. We kicked off the day with a ferry tour to the Statue of Liberty, an iconic and powerful symbol of freedom that set the tone for a day full of history and reflection. Seeing it up close was an experience our group won’t forget anytime soon. From there, we explored Wall Street, walking through the heart of our nation’s financial district and seeing firsthand the places that play such a major role in the global economy. It was an incredible opportunity to connect what we’ve learned in class to the real world. Next, we visited the 9/11 Memorial, where students took time to reflect, honor, and better understand the significance of that day in our nation’s history. The quiet strength of that space made a lasting impression on all of us. We then stopped at Trinity Church and visited the grave of Alexander Hamilton, another powerful moment of bringing history to life in a meaningful and memorable way. We wrapped up the day with an unforgettable Broadway performance of *The Great Gatsby*, a perfect ending to a day full of learning, reflection, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. So proud of this group for continuing to embrace every opportunity and represent our community so well!

Day 3 was one we won’t soon forget. We started the morning at Arlington National Cemetery, an incredibly powerful and humbling experience. Walking those grounds gave our students a deeper appreciation for the sacrifice, service, and history that shape our country. It’s hard to put into words the perspective a place like that brings. From there, we hit the road and made our way from DC to NYC, traveling through **four states** along the way: Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. A great reminder of just how much ground we’re covering on this trip! We wrapped up the day high above the city at The Edge at Hudson Yards. Standing out over the skyline was equal parts breathtaking and unforgettable. The views, the energy, and the shared experience made for a perfect ending to an incredible day. Grateful for the memories being made and the opportunities our students are experiencing each step of the way. #PantherClaw #ACPanthers #LivingHistory #MakingMemories

Day 2 of our DC adventure is in the books—and it was a meaningful one. Students toured the U.S. Capitol, walked through history at Mount Vernon, and stepped aboard the Providence for a hands-on look at life at sea during the Revolutionary era. We also spent time at the Pentagon’s 9/11 Memorial, where students had a chance to reflect and honor the lives lost. Each stop brought learning to life in powerful ways. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from today—we’re excited to share these moments with you! #PantherClaw #ACPanthers #Day2 #LearningBeyondTheClassroom #WashingtonDC #MakingMemories

Brindle Vineyard represented the Clear Creek FFA Chapter well at the CWC Horse Evaluation Contest in Riverton this past Friday!

She placed 37th overall individually and had an outstanding performance with near-perfect scores in Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Aged Gelding.

We’re proud of her hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to improving her skills. An excellent practice contest for the State FFA contest coming up in April!

Way to go Brindle!

💙💛 PANTHER STRONG 💛💙 Our Strength & Conditioning students are putting in the WORK every single day! 💪🔥 These kids aren’t afraid to get their blood pumping and break a sweat—they embrace the grind and show up ready to improve. 🏋️‍♂️🏃‍♀️ At least twice a week, our Panthers take on high-intensity conditioning workouts that push their limits and build both physical and mental toughness. 🐾⚡ And what makes this program even more impressive? Our students seeking Level 3 status are stepping up as leaders—designing challenging workouts not only for themselves, but for their fellow classmates, just like the one pictured! 👏📈 This is what dedication looks like. This is what leadership looks like. This is what it means to be a Panther. 💙💛 #PantherPride #EarnIt #StrengthAndConditioning #BuiltNotGiven #PantherFit

I am excited to share that Sheridan County School District #3 has hired Ms. Madeline Hutchison as our new 7–12 Social Studies teacher for the upcoming school year.

Ms. Hutchison brings a strong background in social studies education and a clear passion for helping students grow as thinkers, communicators, and engaged citizens. She is currently teaching at Upton Middle School and previously taught at Saratoga Middle/High School, where she was actively involved in coaching speech and debate, supporting student activities, and building meaningful relationships with students and families.

Madeline earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Wyoming and has quickly built a reputation as a dedicated educator who creates engaging, student-centered classrooms. She emphasizes critical thinking, respectful discourse, and real-world connections—skills that prepare our students for success beyond graduation.

Throughout the hiring process, it was clear that Ms. Hutchison will be a tremendous addition to our team. She brings energy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to students. Most importantly, she is excited to be a Panther, and we are equally excited to welcome her to our school and community.

Please join me in welcoming Ms. Hutchison to the Panther Claw!
